Tranquility through Reiki
• Relieve stress • Heighten your awareness
• Develop inner peace • Relieve physical pain
This tranquil state is possible through Reiki!
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle non-invasive, complementary energy healing modality. It can be used to enhance and accompany any other modality of therapy and healing. Reiki restores depleted energy, removes blockages in the meridian energy channels, and restores balance. It is administered by gentle touch or hovering the hands above the body.

The Reiki Experience:
Reiki is very mild, gentle and is completely non-invasive making it the perfect accompaniment to other healing modalities. The energy flows through the practitioner, not from the practitioner, and revitalizes the receiver. There is no physical pressure and it is ideal for all ages and conditions. The energy flows wherever it is required and can normally be felt as a warm sensation or tingling in the body. Receiving a treatment is a very relaxing and soothing experience. Often a sensation of floating is reported and it is not unusual to fall into a light sleep.
Sessions are always fully clothed and the Reiki recipient is either reclining or seated comfortably. The only items you need to remove are your shoes, jewelry, and glasses
Reiki can be a 15 minute tune-up, or last an hour or longer depending on the treatment requested. There is sometimes light touching as the healer holds their hands on or above you.
