The Healing Energy of Reiki:
Would you like your stress to dissipate, your inner awareness to heighten, and your heart to be filled a deep sense of inner peace?
Would you like your aches, pains, even chronic injuries to feel relief and your whole body to experience tranquil revitalization?
This tranquil state is possible through Reiki!
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle non-invasive, non-donominational energy frequency that is specifically healing in nature. It can be used to enhance and accompany any other modality of therapy and healing. Reiki restores depleted energy, removes blockages of negativity in the energy channels, and restores balance. It is administered by gentle touch.
Dr. Usui who founded Reiki,
developed the Five Reiki Precepts.
At least for today:
• Do not be angry,
• Do not worry,
• Be grateful,
• Work with diligence,
• Be kind to people.
Would you like to experience Reiki?
Reiki is very mild, gentle and is completely non-invasive and non-condradictory; it is the perfect accompaniment to other healing modalities traditional or otherwise. It flows through the practitioner, not from the practitioner, and revitalizes the receiver. There is no physical pressure and is ideal for all ages and conditions. The energy flows wherever it is required and can normally be felt as a warm sensation or tingling in the body. Receiving a treatment is a very relaxing and soothing experience. Often a sensation of floating is reported and it is not unusual to fall into a light sleep.
During sessions, you would usually recline on a massage table or seated comfortably. The only items you need to remove are your shoes, jewelry and glasses.
Reiki can last an hour or longer depending on the treatment required. There is sometimes light touching as the healer holds their hands on or above you.
